Inspired by the vision of a single mother and created in loving memory of Tonubari Barikor, KRE Prime was founded to make apparel more accessible, functional, and perfectly suited to real life. We believe fashion should never come at the cost of real-life function. And we refuse to let assistive functionality look clinical.

The Evolution of the Jumpsuit: Box TV vs. Flat Screen

Let’s be honest: traditional jumpsuits are a beautiful nightmare. We love how they look — but we hate what happens the moment you walk into a public restroom.

At KRE Prime, we look at fashion through the lens of structural engineering. When we examined the traditional jumpsuit, we didn’t just see a clothing flaw — we saw a design problem waiting to be solved.

To explain how we fixed it, we like to use a little tech history.

Remember the 1960s and 70s? If you wanted to watch a movie back then, you had to stare at a heavy, clunky box television. Today, we have ultra-slim, crystal-clear flat screens. Nobody is rushing out to buy a box TV anymore.

So why are we still wearing “Box TV” jumpsuits?

Regular one-piece jumpsuits are the box TV of fashion. They were designed decades ago with one major flaw: every time you need to use the restroom, you’re forced to strip down inside a tiny public stall. Freezing. Uncomfortable. Completely unnecessary.

KRE Prime is the flat-screen upgrade. We fixed the design problem. Our patent-pending design places hidden zipper tracks only along the front waistband — the back of the pants remains completely smooth, with no hard metal or exposed hardware against your spine.

The result: a release that lets you use the restroom without undressing. Your top stays perfectly styled. Your jumpsuit stays put, and so does your peace of mind. You never have to fight your clothes in a public bathroom again.
